The start point of this malachite rosary short necklace is an experiment. The result turns out lovely, so I decided maybe this is a necklace people would like. The price is extremely reasonable since it is an accidental piece without much planing, and no plan to make more. The 26G copper wire used is a bit thin, however, delivers a floating illusion, which is appreciated.

Many kinds of stones are used, but only vivid green malachite, dark color agate and light color transparent quartz, so the necklace is pretty coherent, with lovely surprise like one gold rutilated quartz you will definitely love.

Gemstone chips are not my first choice for jewelry making, so these malachite chips have been around for a while. I'm glad the necklace turned out not shabby. Maybe not red carpet worthy, but will add a free spirit artistic touch in your overall look. The necklace is 39cm long, about collarbone length, can make it longer upon request, but no longer than 45cm.

Malachite chips, various gemstone beads (8-10mm, agate, prehnite, citrine, rock crystal, gold rutilated quartz), abalone (10mm), copper wire.

[About the Stone]
Malachite is a popular mineral with its intense green color and beautiful banded masses. Malachite is a protection stone, absorbing negative energies and pollutants from the atmosphere and from the body. (Via minerals.net & Crystal Vaults)

Agate is a cryptocrystalline variety of silica, chiefly chalcedony, characterised by its fineness of grain and brightness of color. Agate's most noticeable properties overall are balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection, healing, and calming. Agate enhances creativity and strengthens the intellect, making it a beneficial stone for both students and artists. (Via Wikipedia & Crystal Meanings)

The thick inner layer of the abalone shell is composed of nacre, which in many species is highly iridescent, giving rise to a range of strong, changeable colors, which make the shells attractive to humans as decorative objects, jewelry. (Via Wikipedia)
